Originating from Shaver Lake, Jus Chris and Backwood started making music about a year ago. Jus Chris and Backwood have been making some unique country rap while also being songwriters. They debuted their first song about 2 years ago.

Jus Chris and Backwood produce music that can be described as relatable blue-collar music with a song for everyone. His music has different vibes with a Little Rock country rap mix, and this is what you get when you have no country rednecks. For their creative process, Jus Chris and Backwood sometimes let the songs reach them. They believe in the vibes and the surroundings that they are in and let them flow. After catching the desired vibe, Backwood comes up with the fire hooks and is the best in the game, and just Chris complements it with fire bars and an amazing delivery. Together, they make an amazing team and kill it when they’re in the studio. They had a mutual friend tell them they had to get together, and when they did, they had no idea what this was going to turn into: one song, two songs, maybe just having fun, and then it turned into what no country is today: both very passionate about music and working blue-collar jobs to support their dreams and families, while still having fun.
